What dance means to Annie, in her own words…
“Happiness – I love that dance allows me to put everything else out of my mind and lets me express myself through movement. I also appreciate that dance helps keep me young at heart and is a way to keep fit and healthy.”

Miss Ann Marie: “Annie is as big a star student as we can possibly have here at AMA! Her stellar attendance, coupled with her work ethic, is an example we are proud to share with our younger students. Annie has been an ADF Company member for two years in a row and is such a big help to her co-company members! She loves performing and is always the first person to volunteer for recital help! We love having you at AMA and I am glad to have you as my friend! – Rie”
Miss Jen: “Annie is a joy to have as a dance student! She is dedicated, hard-working, and brings an energy to the class that is out of this world! Annie loves to dance and it shows. Miss Ann Marie: “Caprice is in her second year at AMA and we couldn’t be happier to have her here! Caprice is a dedicated student, taking not only piano lessons but dance, as well! Her instructors speak highly of her great attitude in class, as a great listener and hard-worker. Caprice is very kind and respectful to those around her and we are thrilled to have someone so new be so impressive!”
Miss Jessica: “Caprice is always so excited and eager for her piano lesson! She has a very fun and bubbly personality and teaching her is a blast! She practices several times during the week and comes to her lesson prepared, ready for new things! Caprice has a great understanding of music concepts. She just finished a book and moved to the next level, and I’m excited to see what’s ahead for Caprice as she continues to progress!”
Miss Christina: “I am so proud that Caprice has been chosen as AMA’s Student of the Month! This is the second year I have had Caprice as a student in Jazz class, and it has been amazing to watch her grow as a dancer! She walks into class every Tuesday night with a smile on her face, ready to dance! Caprice is always focused and works hard to learn and execute choreography. It is clear that she thinks about dance even when she’s not at the studio, as she often reminds me of something we learned in the previous week! Caprice brings positivity, kindness, and enthusiasm to our class and enjoys dancing with her fellow classmates. She shines like a star all year long in class and I am so excited to watch her shine on stage for our recital!”
